Product Overview:Dry-type transformers are transformers where the core and windings are not immersed in insulating liquid. The insulating medium is typically dry air or other gases.
Structural Features:
1. Core: Made of high-quality cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets.
Often adopts a 45° full mitered joint to allow magnetic flux to pass along the joint direction, effectively reducing no-load loss, no-load current, and core noise.Core columns are usually bound with Class F non-woven tape and encapsulated with epoxy resin.

(1)Diverse Types:

Epoxy resin with quartz sand filling (cast resin),Glass fiber-reinforced epoxy resin casting (thin insulation structure, widely used, prevents resin cracking, improves reliability)Multi-strand glass fiber epoxy-impregnated winding type

(2)High-Voltage Winding:
Typically multilayer cylindrical or multilayer segmented structure.
Uses mechanically robust and well-ventilated continuous winding on an insulated cylinder.Conductors are paper-insulated flat copper wires, with interlayer insulation using insulating paper.Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) forms a solid structure, enhancing moisture resistance, thermal shock resistance, and reliability.Partial discharge <5 PC, easy to recycle after lifespan.
(3)Low-Voltage Winding:
Usually foil-wound structure with high-quality copper foil and Class H insulation.Interlayer insulation with insulating paper, solidified via VPI for high mechanical strength and short-circuit resistance.

3.Enclosure:
Supports the core and windings while providing protection.
Made of high-quality steel plates with varying protection levels:
IP00 (no protection)
IP20 (prevents solid objects >12mm)
IP23 (protects against dripping water)
Materials: cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, etc.

Protection Function:Dry-type transformers effectively block external contaminants such as dust and moisture, protecting internal components to ensure stable operation in various environments.

4.Temperature Control System:Equipped with an intelligent temperature monitoring system.Automatically detects and displays winding temperatures.Controls fan start/stop, alarms, and trip functions.Temperature relays trigger alerts if overheating occurs.
